Moving Forward, Together.

Traditional therapy often asks children to sit still in a clinical room and explain their heaviest emotions. For a young person navigating a family transition, that environment can feel high-pressure and intimidating.

We take counselling out into the real world, utilising Sydney’s coastal pathways, green spaces, and urban boardwalks. Walking side-by-side breaks the intense eye-contact barrier, lowering internal tension and allowing heavy emotions to be processed organically.

Grounded in Empathy, Guided by Clear Communication

Layered throughout our active sessions are the principles of Emotion Coaching and Non-Violent Communication (NVC). We don't correct or suppress a child's anger, grief, or confusion. Instead, we teach them to name their emotions safely, understand the needs behind their feelings, and express themselves clearly to both parents without feeling caught in the middle.

Session Formats & Flexibility

  • Service Area: Mobile outdoor sessions are available across Sydney’s North Shore and Eastern Suburbs, with locations arranged according to the child’s home, school and suitable nearby outdoor spaces.

  • Mobile Pick-Up My practice is fully mobile and adaptive to your family's routine. I coordinate a seamless transition directly from your location. Whether that means greeting you at your front door, meeting in your apartment lobby, or connecting at a designated local park checkpoint. This removes the logistical friction and waiting room anxiety for busy parents, transitioning your child smoothly into a safe, active space.

  • Seamless Digital Backup Modern family life requires flexible systems. If Sydney's weather conflicts, or if a young person simply prefers a digital format on a given week, our curriculum transitions seamlessly into an interactive online workspace. Progress remains continuous, structured, and completely uninterrupted.

Clinical & Environmental Safety

To ensure the highest standard of care and security during our active sessions, my practice maintains full professional compliance:

  • Clinical Registrations: Fully qualified and registered practitioner (Master of Counselling with a foundational background in Occupational Therapy).

  • Child Safety: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and comprehensive public liability insurance.

  • Environmental Assessment: Sessions take place in carefully selected, low-density outdoor spaces—such as quiet local parks, coastal paths, or nature boardwalks—assessed prior to the session for physical safety and emotional privacy.
